Health Programmes

ETF programme on health centers on community sensitization on reproductive child health and family planning centered on building awareness and behaviour change. In most of these interventions ETF uses simple scalable models that are sustainable. The choice of communities to work with is determined by socio economic indicators. All ETF programmes adopts meaningful participation of the target groups in all aspect of intervention processes. All ETF programmes are implemented based on the prioritized needs of the target group and their communities. On HIV/AIDS/STD’s ETF builds awareness, conducts HIV counseling and testing and refers those positive to the appropriate health care facilities for treatment. ETF also provides health education on community sanitation, individual hygiene and Nutrition through focused group discussions with practical demonstration, distribution of leaflets translated into local languages [Hausa, Gbagi, Yoruba and Ibo] in the assessed communities.
