Towards house hold economic security ETF focuses on building the capacity of women in essential life and vocational skills. ETF also promotes entrepreneurial ventures and setting up of small businesses through business development trainings, provision of access to micro credits from Microfinance banks, private and government financial institutions and networking opportunities. ETF provides training for the formation and management of cooperative groups since it is a major platform for securing loan from Bank of Industry and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria. ETF evaluates and monitors the progress of these cooperative groups and the associated businesses and guides them towards continued success.  

For unemployed youth ETF provides employability training that builds job competencies, promotes and increases entrepreneurial and apprenticeship [structured on the job training] spirit and links trainees to jobs. Since it is becoming increasingly difficult for people without transferable skills to secure and sustain jobs ETF’s employability training are practical helping trainees demonstrate effective interpersonal relations and self management strategies. They also learn leadership, team work, negotiation, creative problem solving and decision making skills.
